Role Purpose:
- Helps to Maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the Factory
- Project Management for Factory Digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Det-Tronics Operations leadership and Det-Tronics IT leader
- Support Operations growth through Stable Factory IT systems
Role Responsibilities:
- Helps to Maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the Factory
- Primary Point of Contact for Factory IT issues & day to day Factory Operations team’s IT requirements
- Preventive Maintenance Planning
- Coordination of Software updates / Patches on Shop Floor Machines
- Documentation of standard procedures for support of IT-related operations in manufacturing and distribution for new and existing processes
- Coordinate with Third Party Vendor Support for Factory Applications & Devices as needed
- Coordinate with Corporate IT Shared Services Support as needed to ensure seamless support for operations
- Project Management for Factory Digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Det-Tronics Operations leadership and Det-Tronics IT leader
- Seeks to understand Factory technology needs; communicates ideas to functional and technical leaders for implementation and development
- Provide timely and advance communications to cross functional teams on technology system changes related to the Factory Operations
- Ability to adjust and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Reporting to Det-Tronics IT Leader
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 5+ years minimum of experience supporting manufacturing information technology in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelors degree
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with assembly lines requiring extensive testing and calibration
- Good oral and written communication skills when interacting with factory personnel and ability to articulate issues and requirements to internal & external support teams
- Highly motivated with the ability to take ownership of IT issues and requirements and follow through to conclusion
- Clear knowledge and understanding of network topology LAN, WAN and Wireless Technologies
- Hands on IT skills / experience in scripting & trouble shooting applications
