Role Purpose:

  • Helps to Maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the Factory
  • Project Management for Factory Digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Det-Tronics Operations leadership and Det-Tronics IT leader
  • Support Operations growth through Stable Factory IT systems


Role Responsibilities:

  • Helps to Maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the Factory
  • Primary Point of Contact for Factory IT issues & day to day Factory Operations team’s IT requirements
  • Preventive Maintenance Planning
  • Coordination of Software updates / Patches on Shop Floor Machines
  • Documentation of standard procedures for support of IT-related operations in manufacturing and distribution for new and existing processes
  • Coordinate with Third Party Vendor Support for Factory Applications & Devices as needed
  • Coordinate with Corporate IT Shared Services Support as needed to ensure seamless support for operations
  • Project Management for Factory Digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Det-Tronics Operations leadership and Det-Tronics IT leader
  • Seeks to understand Factory technology needs; communicates ideas to functional and technical leaders for implementation and development
  • Provide timely and advance communications to cross functional teams on technology system changes related to the Factory Operations
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Reporting to Det-Tronics IT Leader


Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5+ years minimum of experience supporting manufacturing information technology in a manufacturing environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with assembly lines requiring extensive testing and calibration
  • Good oral and written communication skills when interacting with factory personnel and ability to articulate issues and requirements to internal & external support teams
  • Highly motivated with the ability to take ownership of IT issues and requirements and follow through to conclusion
  • Clear knowledge and understanding of network topology LAN, WAN and Wireless Technologies
  • Hands on IT skills / experience in scripting & trouble shooting applications
