NVIDIA is hiring: Director, PCBA Factory Quality in Santa Clara

We are now looking for a senior leader to direct a team of PCBA factory quality engineers in North America region. What you will be doing: Manage a team of quality engineers to bring up new product lines and to drive continuous quality improvements at each factory site. Align lessons learned and best quality practices across our global CM sites. Work closely with manufacturing partners in audit, quality critical metric management, and process compliance. Handle quality excursions and qualification. Cooperate with internal teams, including process, assembly, test, reliability, and field quality as the main factory quality interface. Develop quality management strategy and identify risks in early product phases. Lead quality sessions of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and use data to influence improvements within the company and CM/ODMs. What we need to see: BS or MS degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience. 15+ overall years of quality management experience in large volume PCBA manufacturing in data center/server/storage industry. 10+ years of people management leading engineering teams. Familiar with quality core tools application: 8D, 5-Why, 6S, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma/Lean. Effective communication and problem-solving skills including data analytics, logical and statistical analysis, and oral presentation. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Strong collaboration experience and team management. Strong ownership of quality issues. Self-motivated, open-minded personality with strong learning interests and full passion for work. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
