Job Description

Role: Discovery Analyst

Location: Austin, TX (Day-1 Onsite)
Job Description: Looking to hire a Discovery Analyst with minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in similar functional roles. Analysts will be working in a fast-paced integrated eligibility project capturing user stories during the discovery phase.

An eligible candidate must have the following skill sets:

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
    Experience working as a business analyst eliciting requirements from various business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product owners, business users and technical teams as part of creating the user stories
  • Ability to facilitate and drive meetings with various stakeholders, define agendas, capture minutes and track action items for completion
  • Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation and capture as-is and to-be functionality of the new enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent documentation skills in developing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to create wireframe mockups
  • Ability to create flow chart diagrams
  • Experience with using application lifecycle management tools such as JIRA, JAMA, etc.
  • Understanding of data bases and able to write basic SQL queries for data analysis
  • Prior Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) or any other Case Management System experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or with others in a team environment.
