Overview UNITED STATES CITIZEN TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED HYBRID - WASHINGTON, DC / ONSITE 3 TIMES A WEEK Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Business Analyst for one of our clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress. Responsibilities Understand client business needs and requirements Understand the current system and how it functions Assist in design and development of applications based on business requirement Upgrade and modify applications per business needs Create manual and automated test scenarios, and test the system accurately by the appropriate deadlines Assist in preparing project plan and technical and functional specifications Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely fashion Ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and ensure to complete project within assigned timelines Provide support in system testing and bug fixing activities Be available for migrations (during non-standard business hours) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in any related field Minimum of 3 years related experience Experience with Business Requirements Analysis Experience with Agile Planning Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written. Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight. Able to develop strong client relationships.
