Business Analyst Job at Carlisle Fluid Tech in Saint Paul

Summary:
As part of a companywide business transformation, the Business Analyst will lead organizational and financial analysis to support workstreams, initiatives, and projects across the global organization to drive improvements in revenue, profitability, productivity, and efficiency in all departments and regions. This position will support the company’s transformation initiatives through analysis.

Essential Functions:

• Partner with global functional leaders in product management, marketing, R&D, sales, human resources and operations to provide financial analytics for transformation workstreams and initiatives.
• Streamline current processes and establish new reporting to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with global teams by supporting business case development and financial modeling. Track and report performance of past initiatives.
• Responsible for maintaining and distributing all weekly and monthly transformation reporting.
• Analyze financial impact of operational decisions, to project profitability and to assist in forming the business strategy.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and willingness to proactively seek answers to reduce ambiguity
• Work with functional leaders to develop and track key performance indicators.
• Provide business case support for capital projects.
• Drive global standardization and simplification of financial processes leveraging key management reporting tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-5 yrs. Experience in accounting, audit, finance, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
• Proven track record of process improvement and change management
• Demonstrated interpretative and analytical skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization to resolve issues
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently
• Experience using HFM and/or Essbase (or comparable financial reporting tools)
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI and other data analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with global organizations
• CPA with Audit experience
• MBA preferred
