Evolver Federal is hiring: Business Analyst in Reston

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join and support our federal projects.

This is a fully remote position that requires Active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Identify specific business opportunities and ways to capitalize on them
• Assist with project management for DOD projects
• Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation
• Review reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance
• Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Help design, document and maintain system processes
• Report on common sources of issues or questions and make recommendations to the team
• Stay vigilant for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
• Collaborating with project managers on roadmap planning and workforce optimization

Basic Qualifications

• US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
• 2 years of experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• 2 years of experience in analyzing data to draw relevant business conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• 2 years of experience in understanding SQL queries

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of increasingly responsible full-time experience performing business analysis and project management duties
• 5 years of experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• 5 years of experience in analyzing data to draw relevant business conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• 5 years of experience in understanding SQL queries
• Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
