Trissential is seeking a Business Analyst to join our client team in a hybrid capacity with three days onsite in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, process automation, and a solid understanding of SailPoint functionality. This role will focus primarily on supporting a SailPoint upgrade, including enhancements and capital projects, while also identifying opportunities to automate processes and reduce manual workloads. The ideal candidate will be highly process-driven, detail-oriented, and experienced in agile environments. They will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be adept at translating business requirements into actionable agile stories and have a strong background in both business analysis and process improvement. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather and document detailed requirements for the SailPoint upgrade and related automation projects
- Support the implementation of the SailPoint upgrade and identify potential automations to streamline processes and reduce manual workloads
- Translate business requirements into agile stories and tasks, ensuring developers have a clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and other agile ceremonies to provide updates, identify gaps, and ensure project alignment with business goals
- Conduct process analysis and workflow modeling to identify areas for improvement and automation within the SailPoint system
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and expectations
- Maintain a keen attention to detail, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and supports the overall objectives of the project
- Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to developing new solutions that enhance business efficiency and effectiveness
- Utilize problem-solving and organizational skills to navigate project challenges, manage multiple priorities, and ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a focus on process improvement and automation
- Strong familiarity with SailPoint functionality and experience working on SailPoint-related projects, particularly upgrades and automation initiatives
- Proven experience in an agile environment, including participating in agile ceremonies and developing agile stories
- Strong understanding of process analysis, process modeling, and workflow optimization
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Business Analyst certification (preferred but not required)
Essential skills:
- Experience with SailPoint or similar identity governance platforms
- Strong process analysis and process-driven mindset
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex project requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Ability to think critically, ask questions, and challenge assumptions when necessary
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in business or systems analysis roles
- Experience with SailPoint or similar identity governance platforms
- Proven track record in process automation, agile methodologies, and project management
Benefits:
Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The pay range for this role is $117,000 to $122,000 annually depending on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
