Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our Financial Crimes Risk Management team in supporting the development of a high-impact banking payments risk platform. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in banking payments processing, risk detection, and financial crimes compliance who is excited to work in a dynamic environment. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and data specialists, to drive platform enhancements and meet the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage expertise in banking payments to define and document business requirements.
• Analyze business challenges and develop actionable insights.
• Create use cases, user personas, and user stories.
• Document business workflows, models, and processes.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to gauge customer satisfaction.
• Prioritize features based on customer feedback, market needs, and trends.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure goal alignment and high-quality product delivery.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product innovation.
• Develop and track KPIs to drive product decisions and performance enhancements.
• Address product-related inquiries from stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree.
• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in commercial banking payments.
• Expertise in bank payment processing technologies (e.g., SWIFT, mobile payments, P2P transfers, online payments).
• Knowledge of regulatory and operational requirements for Money Service Businesses.
• Proficiency in data analysis for product decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence is preferred.
• Knowledge of KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and compliance technology is a plus.
• CAMS or similar certification is preferred.
