Title: Business Systems Analyst Location: Tampa, FL Contract Length: 24 Months Schedule: 8 hour shift Job ref 238338 Job Summary: The Technical Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to analyze, define, and implement business processes. This role is essential for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on system design, configuration, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with business users to gather and document detailed business requirements. Work with techno functional consultants and developers to design system solutions that meet business requirements. System Integration: Assist with integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between systems. Data Management & Reporting: Collaborate on data analysis, report generation, and ensure proper data management. Testing & Validation: Develop test scripts and perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better use of system functionality or enhancements. Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, system configurations, and user guides. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system bugs or configuration problems. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Train end-users and provide knowledge transfer to ensure they can effectively use systems. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Experience: System configuration experience. Experience with implementations or upgrades. Strong understanding of database systems and SQL queries. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement. Ability to analyze complex business processes and map them to technical solutions. Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working in cross-functional teams, including business and IT professionals. Other Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience with project management tools like Jira. Understanding of data migration, change management, and system testing strategies. Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA .
