Position Description:
LCG is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to join our team, supporting key projects and initiatives that drive our mission to deliver impactful and innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with a keen ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical requirements. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, stakeholders, and development teams to ensure alignment of business objectives with actionable outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, durations, and expenditures as required.
- Maintaining the ServiceNow Knowledge Management SOP and How-To documentation
- Reviewing and editing documents, such as SOP's.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in project and stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following-up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Assist in developing project strategies.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management schedule for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Assist/facilitate the documentation of IT-business processes and standards in the form of flowcharts, SOPs, and job aides.
- Coordinate between stakeholders and team to identify and mitigate project risks.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of directly related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business or related field of study, or an equal amount of hands-on experience.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
Ability to work on tight deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Knowledge Management and Project Management modules.
- SharePoint and UAT Testing experience are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance productivity in daily desktop support tasks, including troubleshooting technical issues, generating incident reports, documenting resolutions, and preparing user training materials.
- Skilled at leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot tools to improve collaboration, streamline support workflows, and ensure efficient communication and resolution of technical issues.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $76,000 to $102,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary for this position is $87,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
