Senior Business Analyst Job at SpaceNav in Boulder

SpaceNav is looking for an experienced accounting professional with a demonstrated record of success in a fast-paced environment. SpaceNav is a Colorado-based applied mathematics and aerospace engineering firm developing mission critical flight dynamics applications that are used to support satellite operations. The senior accountant will be responsible for execution of the accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities for SpaceNav. The senior accountant will create invoices, develop operational budgets, and perform various financial analyses. This position requires the successful candidate to be self-motivated and at times work with little supervision. The ability to interact with other professionals and provide technical leadership is critical. The essential roles and responsibilities will include: Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities Create monthly invoices Prepare financial statements and reports Conduct cash flow analysis and financial projections spanning multiple projects Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in accounting, finance, or related discipline Previous experience developing and reporting various business metrics In depth understanding of government cost contracting and pricing Strong mathematical and analytical skills Multiple years’ experience with QuickBooks Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines
