About this position:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to perform essential business analysis functions and lead "out-of-the-box" implementations of ServiceNow products. The ideal candidate will drive business process definition and improvement efforts, ensuring that solutions leverage standard ServiceNow capabilities. You will effectively capture, analyze, and communicate business requirements to align with best practices and deliver efficient, scalable outcomes.

Salary Range: 80k - 120k - commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.

Experience Levels:

Minimum of two years of experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst or in project management.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

1. Conduct business needs identification, analysis planning, stakeholder analysis, and change activities.

2. Lead business process definition, re-engineering, and gap analysis with key customer stakeholders.

3. Capture end-user requirements and write user stories, maintaining them in ServiceNow.

4. Analyze and verify requirements against existing and planned product capabilities.

5. Maintain up-to-date documentation of approved business requirements, use cases, process flows, and reporting requirements.

6. Manage the flow of requirements from the product backlog into sprint planning.

7. Serve as a liaison between business owners, end users, and IT partners.

8. Collaborate with stakeholders and focus groups to analyze and develop business use cases and process models.

Required Education/Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum software development environment, including testing and ATF scripts.
  • Familiarity with implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Solid understanding of Agile processes and methodologies, with the ability to write user stories and break down larger stories.
  • Experience using business analysis tools and techniques to design and deliver business change.
  • Proficient in process management competencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred.
