Sector Senior Director GSC Program Center of Excellence
to implement and lead the transformation of GSC programmatic scope control skills across the sector. This position will report to the Space VP of Global Supply Chain. The individual in this role will be responsible for the direct supervision and management of two Managers who perform Program Excellence activities as well as support GSC financial forecasting across the sector. In this role, the selected candidate will be expected to: Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure supply chain management functions and activities are fully integrated with the program team. Ensure the optimal use of resources to achieve Sector, Division, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) objectives and goals to achieve profitability and growth. Establish an organizational vision that utilizes data to empower decision making and instills accountability, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency. Lead review of current state assessment of GSC Program Management process and organization alignments to develop future state comprised of harmonized cross-division Best Practices. Define and implement a GSC program launch process. Maintain GSC metrics (monthly, dashboards, and tools, etc.) with a focus on proactive risk mitigation and issue resolution. Define a standard GSC monthly management program review and host monthly review of high-risk programs. Mature the GSC Risk Management and Return to Green processes. Act as GSC focal for NAR/ICE or Execution reviews. Proactively drive business growth through engagement with BD, providing full program life cycle program performance expertise. Define best practice/future state of GSCPM’s, with communication strategy for Program Management and leadership. Assist with development of CAM responsibility – EVMS, material forecasting, supplier target pricing, EAC. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, demand planning, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with at least 8 years of experience in the same fields. Demonstrated people leader with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading diverse teams. Must have business systems experience (SAP and/or Cost Point). Procurement experience as a Buyer/SCA or Manager of Buyers or SCA. Self-starter with the ability to work independently under the guidance of the Senior Sector Director of Program Execution. Experience leading large cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. Experience in change management, implementation of best practices, and training. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time. Preferred Qualifications: The ability to travel 25% of time. Aerospace & Defense experience; execution in various program lifecycles. Solid understanding of supply chain metrics and key performance indicators. Robust business systems implementation and transition experience. The ability to address uncertainty with predictive data analytics. Strong program management skills with ability to execute initiatives with urgency, accuracy and efficiency. Active security clearance. Salary Range:
$197,500 - $343,100 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
