POSITION: PMO Business Analyst

LOCATION: Tampa, FL/ Hybrid


The PMO Business Analyst role is essential for optimizing business processes within the Program Management Office. The responsibilities emphasize process analysis, project support, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Process Analysis:

Includes evaluating workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and documenting procedures.

Project Support:

Assist in planning and execution, providing analytical support and tracking performance metrics, including:

  • Project timecard analysis and reconciliation
  • Monitor employee schedules in coordination with timecards
  • Assist in preparing contract deliverables
  • Coordinate travel and overseas relocation
  • Assist employees with travel expense reports
  • Track required training per policies and customer requirements
  • Track project performance metrics and prepare status reports
  • Assist HR and recruiting with staffing needs, including job requisitions and candidate screening


Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate effectively with teams to align with business objectives. Facilitate meetings, drive consensus, and communicate effectively to manage expectations.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop dashboards and reports for insights into project performance
  • Support strategic planning through data-driven analysis


Continuous Improvement:

  • Promote best practices and innovation in project management
  • Lead initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and effective tools
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Five+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a PMO environment.
  • Proficiency in Deltek CostPoint and advanced MS Office365 (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Secret Security Clearance preferred or the ability to obtain post hire.
