OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Business Development Research Analyst to support our team of business development (BD) and operations executives responsible for growing the company. Hendall Inc. is an industry-leading professional services contracting company, based in Rockville, Maryland, with an established record of providing critical support to various Federal Government agencies.

To be successful in this role, you should be adept at performing market research to support Hendall's pursuit of Federal procurements, understand government acquisitions, and demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Success will be measured by observed support contributing to lead generation and moving the team's pipeline deals through the capture process to proposal submission.

DUTIES

  • Drive cross-team growth activities to include marketing, deal identification and development, and business pipeline tracking.
  • Perform research and analysis activities including market research initiatives, industry analysis, and tracking of procurement notices and solicitations.
  • Facilitate business development and operations meetings to include providing analysis, risk log management, and action item tracking for weekly BD meetings and other ongoing initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Ensure appropriate oversight and follow-up of high priority assignments and actions.
  • Facilitate cross-team communication and operational management functions within the organization working closely with senior management.
  • Manage corporate resources including contractor performance evaluations, corporate organizational charts, corporate marketing and resource materials, procurement and acquisition resources, company website, and capability statements.
  • Coordinate industry and agency event attendance by Hendall team, including identifying target events, attending events, and tracking event attendance reports.
  • Provide other administrative support such as compiling managers reports, maintaining team SharePoint site to include managing user access, and onboarding new BD team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of applicable experience.
  • Experience in Federal contracting (HHS preferred).
  • Knowledge of Federal marketplace (procurements and acquisitions).
  • Experience using GovWin, SAM.gov, and FPDS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with and presenting to c-suite executives.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 per year
