This is an office-based position.

Responsibilities

Analyze business issues, define requirements, design computer programs, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues. Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats. Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep team within timeline and budget. Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications. Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing. Maintain automated system protocols by writing and updating procedures. May create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training.Requirements Elicitation: Lead individual and group meetings to gather detailed business requirements. Perform impact analysis. Identify and analyze scope change.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for business process improvement and make recommendations.System Specifications: Develop system specifications and work closely with development teams to ensure alignment with business needs.Stakeholder Management: Facilitate requirements meetings and workshops with stakeholders.Solution Evaluation: Assist in evaluating potential solutions to meet business requirements.Lead Requirements Gathering: Independently gather and document detailed business and technical requirements from multiple stakeholders for various workstreams. Enhanced understanding of software best practices and apply in consultative approach.Advanced Data Analysis: Perform more complex data analysis and create reports and dashboards for decision-making.Qualifications

Technical Competencies

Intermediate Business Analysis and Configuration Tools: Proficiency in more advanced tools and software for requirements management and documentation (e.g., Jira, Excel, Word, Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint). Undertake medium complexity configuration activities. Strong understanding of database structures and write basic queries (SQL).Intermediate Data Analysis: Ability to conduct more detailed data analysis and create complex reports using data analysis tools or databases (e.g., SQL).Understanding of SDLC Methodologies: Deeper understanding of SDLC methodologies and the ability to apply them in various project contexts.Documentation Skills: Ability to create detailed business requirement documents and functional specifications.Business Process Modeling: More advanced understanding of business process modeling techniques.Business Analysis Techniques: Proficient in various business analysis techniques such as SWOT analysis, GAP analysis, and root cause analysis.Problem Solving Skills: Skill in managing and documenting detailed requirements and user stories, with the ability to use modeling tools. Deeper understanding of the technical integrations and documentation. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or international equivalent).Typically requires 3+ years of business analysis or related experience.Expanded knowledge and expertise in their field.Develop, continuously demonstrate, and master skills, job, and core competencies.Mastery of business analysis principles.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification a plus.
