General Function

Under general supervision, develops, tests, documents, and maintains reports and business workflows based on specifications provided. This is an entry-level position that is staffed by personnel who have had sufficient educational background and/or experience to qualify them.

Representative Duties

· Develops, enhances, and tests reports based on specifications. Can write simple to moderate SQL queries.

· Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

· Communicates and interacts with customer contacts/liaisons to increase the efficiency and functionality of software applications.

·Documents applications, technical specifications, and user manuals.

· Maintains current technology expertise.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Computer Science or Business Administration institution with one year of problem analysis experience.

Related experience in system analysis/performance may be substituted for education year after year.

ENVIRONMENT

Information Systems & Services supports over 10,000 desktop workstations. Software standards include but not limited to the latest Microsoft Office Suite Professional, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, productivity software applications and industry standard business applications.

TCP/IP & RFC standards & protocols, Cisco IOS, Cisco 7600 series and ASR 1K routers, OSPF and BGP, Catalyst 45XX - 65XX, Cisco 9000 series switches including multilayer switching, Juniper EX series switches, MX routers and SRX firewalls.
