Procurement and Third-Party Management (P&TPM) is responsible for procuring products and services for Citigroup and manages the risks associated with Citi's use of and reliance upon third-party relationships, including outsourced arrangements, across all business lines and locations. P&TPM defines and oversees the implementation of policies and standards that provide controls to assess and manage risks related to Citi's third-party relationships and outsourcing arrangements. The goal of P&TPM is to support Citi's selection and management of third parties capable of providing products and services in a safe and sound manner and at a reasonable cost and to manage the risks associated with third parties.

Citi is currently seeking an emerging leader to join the Procurement and Third-Party Management Operational Excellence team.

Responsibilities:

Be a senior member of the P&TPM Operational Excellence team, a new team at Citi. Work with the Head of P&TPM Operational Excellence, TPM leadership, and business partners to conceive of and implement a portfolio of projects that simplify and de-risk P&TPM global, bank-wide operations. Collaborate with the Citi technology organization in support of P&TPM technology projects. Leverage change management approaches and methods, assess organization capacity and readiness for change. Use the assessment to work with P&TPM and business leaders to establish an implementation plan for process improvement/process transformation that identifies timing, key projects/initiatives, resources/teams, and change management approach. Partner with business stakeholders to devise innovative solutions through leveraging an agile methodology to address process pain points and value opportunities. Plan and conduct functional and cross-functional working sessions to develop future state process models that address value opportunities. Conduct and incorporate leading practice assessments and benchmarking as required. Partner with process leaders to "sell" the process changes and onboard and influence key stakeholders to support the implementation plan. Develop project plans, including backlogs and user stories. Train project managers/team leaders on agile principles (preferred), process analysis and design approaches, methods, and tools. Leverage Six Sigma, Lean, DMAIC, and other common process change methodologies. Help create a culture of continuous improvement within P&TPM and across our stakeholders. Reduce time to market, boost quality, raise employee morale, and become a more adaptive organization. Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities through the effective use of time management and organizational techniques. Qualifications:

Strong track record of driving operational excellence, ideally within procurement and third-party management, and regulatory remediation experience. 8+ years of experience participating in Operating Model, Process improvement, and Process Transformation projects for end-to-end processes crossing business areas/siloes/geographies. Served as the project lead on at least 2 complex operating model, process reengineering or transformation projects, using agile methodologies, that delivered significant ROI and risk and control uplift and were sponsored by Senior to Executive management. Experience with Procurement and Third-Party management transformation is preferred. Experience within Banking and Financial Services or another regulated industry is required. Management Consulting experience is strongly preferred. Proven capability to develop/adapt Process improvement and Process Transformation approaches and methods, and to lead and train others on the approaches and methods. Experience with Lean and Six Sigma, DMAIC, or other process change methodologies required. Ability to manage cross-functional global project teams. Strong planning and organizing skills with the ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities through effective time management and organizational techniques. Unquestionable integrity and objectivity, with ongoing commitment to excellence and the ability to operate in diverse environments and cultures. Education:
