Job Description: Implementation Specialist – Midstream Oil and Gas (W Energy Software)
We are looking for an experienced Implementation Specialist to join our team, focusing on midstream oil and gas applications powered by W Energy Software. This role involves leading client engagements, ensuring successful software implementations, and optimizing workflows for enhanced operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Client Collaboration:
Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and software needs
Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact during the implementation process.
Assessment and Planning:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' existing systems and workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Develop detailed implementation plans, defining project scope, milestones, resource requirements, and timelines.
Software Integration:
Lead collaboration with internal teams (developers, project managers) to ensure smooth integration of W Energy Software with existing client infrastructure.
Drive activities related to software configuration, customization, and data migration, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
Training and Support:
Conduct training sessions and workshops for client end-users to promote successful adoption of the software.
Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and documentation to enhance user understanding.
Provide ongoing support during the implementation process, addressing client questions and resolving issues promptly.
Risk Mitigation and Quality Assurance:
Proactively identify and address risks or issues that could impact project success.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Internal Collaboration and Leadership:
Act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing feedback and requirements to the product team for software enhancements.
Guide and mentor team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of financial accounting experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
3+ years of experience in software implementation, consulting, or related roles within the software or energy industries.
Hands-on experience configuring and customizing software solutions to meet specific client requirements.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with JIRA and SQL is required.
Strong understanding of midstream oil and gas workflows and related software solutions.
Other Qualifications:
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Commitment to continuous learning, particularly in the energy business and W Energy Software.
