Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join GPX team within SPS (Selling Partner Support) organization. This role will support the Seller Partner Support SOP team and the Risk Content Management team.
This role will collaborate with program managers, content developers, editorial managers, product managers and business stakeholders to make an impact in the Amazon SPS organization to improve the way we support our Sellers.
As a Business Analyst, you will interact with many of Amazon’s most complex systems to synthesize data and compile valuable insights that help improve and optimize processes to support sellers. These findings will serve as the basis for metrics and scalable mechanisms that fuel new opportunities. This role will enable the creation of new SOP products that reduce seller friction and enhance the seller support experience. The successful candidate will significantly impact by bridging efforts between multiple stakeholders. This position will be responsible for identifying failure points within our current systems and diving deep into existing processes to recommend improvements. The Business Analyst should enjoy the challenge of working with ambiguous data and have experience communicating insights and creating simple yet powerful narratives that drive change.
Key job responsibilities
Perform complex data research to identify opportunities to simplify support process
Design, develop, and establish metrics to provide strategic insights
Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL, and/or other data management systems) and experience to dive deep and utilize known research and problem solving techniques
Communicate complex insights to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Experience with Excel
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
