Job description:
Role: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: Oakbrook, IL - 100% Remote
We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with at least 6+ years of experience and strong experience with APIs.
Top Desired Skills:
1. Experience Reading/Testing APIs (Postman, SoapAPI, Swagger, etc.)
2. Strong Agile experience - At least 5 years
3. Must be able to collaborate, handle multiple projects, and be able to prioritize to meet deadlines
N otes : "This BA MUST have at least 5-7 years of Agile experience and will be working closely with the Product Owners/Managers. This BA must be able to collaborate, handle multiple projects, and be able to prioritize to meet deadlines. This BA will: gather requirements, write user stories, write acceptance criteria, refine stories, document, answer questions from the development team, grooming backlog, develop metrics and reports, participate in scrum meetings, standups. The manager is specifically looking for someone with a technical background for his API team - looking for experience with reading and testing for APIs. Desired Experience: 5 - 7+ years of BA or BSA experience
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Certifications (Nice to have): SAFe POPM, Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, CBAP, or other transformation related certification
Deep knowledge and understanding of product development processes and Agile methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge of innovation, design, reengineering, and digital transformation with proven success delivering complex, large-scale initiatives
Proactive, analytical, and problem-solving approach, able to propose resolutions and/or remediation to inefficient processes
Experience creating user stories and workflows
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work streams in a fast-paced environment and self-prioritize, multi-task and complete tasks within specified timelines
Proficiency in using analytics tools like Microsoft Excel
Expertise in use of diagramming tools such as such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Figma etc.
Possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with both internal and external teamsDetail-oriented, organized, and dependable
Experience with trust accounting systems, IRAs and alternative assets preferred
Ability to design interactive visual interfaces and dashboards (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
IRA/IRS rules and regulations knowledge and experience preferred
An affinity for accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement
