Job Description Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) at Augsburg University The Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) division includes four uniquely equipped teams: Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, SEM Operations, and Financial Aid. We are a key partner in driving sustainable enrollment growth at Augsburg towards the goal of becoming a medium-sized university with 5,000 Auggies by 2030. Summary of Position The Associate Director, PSEO is a key leadership role within the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) division in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions responsible for driving sustainable growth through impactful student recruitment and admission activities. Living out the SEM division's mission, vision and values, this position oversees the enrollment management functions for the university's PSEO (dual enrollment) students. The Associate Director leads the strategy and carries out the core tasks in order to achieve targeted growth goals for dual enrolled students that support the Augsburg 150 Strategic Plan's goal to become a medium sized university by 2030. Primary Responsibilities 65% PSEO Student, Family, CBO and High School Staff Engagement: Coordinate all PSEO recruitment activities; lead generation, high school/CBO outreach, online and on-campus events, inquiry response, applicant completion, success coaching, enrollment confirmation yield, and summer to matriculation conversion. Coordinate recruitment outreach to Urban Debate League participants and like programs across campus. Coordinate admissions committee activities to review applications and accept qualified PSEO candidates. Coordinate a recruit back campaign for non-enrolling or non-admitted PSEO applications. Coordinate with Advising Staff to advise and register PSEO students. Cultivate and maintain relationships with PSEO campus partners (i.e. School Directors, bookstore, housing, orientation, accounts receivable, and student accounts). Maintain differentiated ongoing PSEO communication with prospective students and key high school staff. Serve as a student success coach for prospective students as part of Augsburg Applies to You platform. Responsible for the recruitment of enrolled PSEO students to become matriculated students when eligible. Work in partnership with SEM operations to ensure the program promotional results are impactful, including but not limited to advertisements, website, brochures, letters, social media, etc. 35% Administrative Tasks: Responsible for the PSEO/dual enrollment data reporting/analytics and state reimbursement process. Set and monitor program policy and procedures as appropriate, including a PSEO handbook. Contribute to academic enrollment planning related to PSEO program/course offerings. Develop and convene internal and external PSEO advisory groups. Ensure that the campus community is aware of new PSEO program development. Oversee PSEO enrollment projections and revenue budget planning. Coordinate support for PSEO recruitment and enrollment from SEM Operations Team. Ensure that undergraduate admissions staff provide promotional and student engagement support for PSEO/dual enrollment programs. Enhance overall positioning of dual enrollment options by understanding first-hand knowledge of student experiences. Supervise direct report(s), providing skill/knowledge training, guidance and support on the individual(s) work capacities as well as individual belonging and growth. Contribute to key strategies, such as Augsburg Applies to YOU and Power of US. Work Environment and Physical Demands Flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours. Typical work environment is an office. Sedentary work for long periods of time. Regular phone and computer use. Emotional intelligence may be needed in order to effectively relate to and work with students and or families from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and occasional strong emotional reactions. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within and outside of the region to recruit students and represent the University (requires occasional overnight, evening and week-end work). Travel requires driving and flying capability. Travel at various events which include standing, talking, and presenting. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions, enrollment management, and/or comparable professional roles. Evidence of the ability to work with persons from diverse backgrounds. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Effective time management and the ability to work independently. Ability to understand and leverage systems, technology, and processes to manage work efficiently. Strong organizational and supervisory skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. Experience with CRM software. Ability to reason/analyze and review several options to determine best strategy. A commitment to our Belonging Organizational Structure and to an inclusive workplace.
