Delivering on Amazon’s high bar for customer obsession takes hundreds of thousands of hourly Operations team members. Amazon Global Workforce Staffing (WFS) generates demand for the Amazon hourly brand, and converts that interest into new hires.
The WFS Business Planning team is looking for someone to support with vendor management and financial analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to marketing, recruiting, operations, and leadership teams. Using cutting-edge generative AI capabilities, this role will drive insights, define metrics, develop models and dashboards, and lead data analysis projects to optimize WFS's controllable spending.
Key job responsibilities:
· Lead data analytics projects and collaborate with cross functional business and data analytics stakeholders to turn business requirements into consumable data reports.
Analyze historical data to identify trends and insights
· Perform complex data modelling and analysis to optimize WFS's vendor management
· Partner with data engineering teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics and insights
· Establish metrics, reporting and review mechanisms to enable data-driven decision making at pace as well as setting up repeatable and scalable mechanisms
Communicate complex insights to senior stakeholders, both in written reports and presenting findings and recommendations.
· Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience with Excel
Experience with SQL
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
