**Job Description**
As part of the Sourcing Center of Excellence team, the Business & Supply Chain Analyst will provide Procurement & Sourcing Teams with analytical support for the sourcing/purchasing efforts, ad hoc projects, ongoing strategies, and leadership reporting.
Main responsibilities for this role will be to support the Marine and Technical, Port Operations, and Logistics procurement operations & strategic sourcing teams for our North American brands. However, this position may also support other key spend areas and categories, including but not limited to: Destination Development, Shore Excursions, IT, Food & Beverage, Hotel, Marketing, Air Travel, Retail, and ESG.
This position will provide a great opportunity to learn about the operations across our brands as well as in a wide variety of spend categories and sourcing markets.
This role is responsible for working on a daily basis with key stakeholders across our Brands to provide analytical support for sourcing, procurement and supply chain initiatives, conducting in depth analysis and making recommendations that drive business improvements. Positive relationship building with the ability to be influential without direct authority, resilience to ambiguity and an ability to work in a fast paced quickly changing environment are required.
This role will typically be challenged with non-harmonized data from various systems, data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving and document preparation. The position will interact with all levels of the organization including executive leadership and will directly contribute to critical business decisions leading to maximize revenue opportunities and business change.
The position will be responsible for the following areas:
+ Project-level Analytical Support
+ Support Procurement Operations & Sourcing Efforts

+ Systems, Data management, and Dashboard Development
**Essential Functions:**
Analytics:
+ Work closely with the North America & Australia l Procurement Operations and Sourcing teams (responsible for each spend category) to identify business opportunities, define/ clarify a problem statement, and develop an analysis plan
+ Gather, organize, reconcile, clean-up large data sets from various systems and conduct relevant analyses and recommendations
+ Identify insights, synthesize results, and prepare management presentations
+ Prepare presentations summarizing data analysis and potential opportunities
+ Show financial impact as well as implications for each involved brand
+ Presentations should be clean, easy to follow, and ready to use at executive level (CFO, CPO)
+ Gather and standardize data from various systems to create dashboards & reports across brands. Dashboards should have key performance indicators or analytics matrix, be interactive so end user can select specific categories and time periods, crisp details, and comprehensible.
+ Ability to understand end to end process and create process maps to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities across the supply chain.
+ Support in master data maintenance and governance activities
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders from our Brands to gather business needs and provide reporting solutions while keeping them updated of progress
+ Sample analyses include (not exhaustive): cost-benefit analyses, buy vs. lease, ship vs. buy-local, what if analysis, custom spend reports
+ Conduct market research and ability to synthetize and present findings
Support Sourcing & Supply Chain Effects:
+ Support Category Leads across multiple spend areas to successfully implement sourcing efforts
+ Support throughout the 7-Step Sourcing Process, from data analysis, market research, RFP, to vendor negotiations and implementation
+ Analyze and recommend improvements in the procurement operations & strategic sourcing teams aiming to achieve the best total landed cost of goods and services
+ Partner with other business teams to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions within a global supply chain network
Financial Tracking and Reporting
+ Work with Category leads, PMO, and Finance teams to make sure savings are accurately measured and validated
+ Monitor savings, identify risks, and escalate when appropriate
+ Report on value-add initiatives
Systems and Data management:
+ Work with systems team to continuously improve systems by (e.g., improved functionality and fixing of bugs/issues)
+ Ensure procurement data is available, reliable, and comparable across all Brands, e.g.,:
+ Item Taxonomy & Hierarchy
+ Item Descriptions
+ Vendor names/ codes, and categorization
+ Support in supply chain master data maintenance and governance activities
+ Develop and maintain a proficient knowledge in procurement systems utilized for sourcing, including AMOS, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, and others
**Qualifications:**
+ Education: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a specialization in information systems, Management Information Systems, Statistics or similar. Master degree preferred but not required
+ Required Years and Area of Professional Experience: 2-3 yearsof experience with a track record of driving results in business analysis, process improvement, or finance. Prior sourcing/ supply chain experience/knowledge preferred but not required
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ Strong analytical and process improvement skills
+ Very proficient with analytical software, especially Microsoft Excel
+ Advanced knowledge in querying/ manipulation of large data sets (SQL, Access or similar)
+ Extensive experience in data visualization tools (Power BI)
+ Past experience with Microsoft Powerpoint and creating action-oriented presentations
+ Demonstrated ability to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization is able to interface independently and effectively with peers in other departments/ Brands
+ Well organized and can prioritize multiple requests simultaneously
+ Aggressive go getter, driven, and can work with little supervision
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
+ Interest or experience in the travel and tourism industry
**Decision Making:**
+ Operational: Decisions focus on day-to-day activities within the company. Decisions made at this level help to ensure that daily activities proceed smoothly and therefore help to move the company toward reaching a strategic goal. They have short term consequences. Examples are: Handling employee conflicts, purchasing materials needed for operations
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended period of time
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as "in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida from Tuesday through Thursday. Employees may work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Some positions may require additional in-office time each week and final schedule is determined by your leader. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
