Local to Seattle, WA. Hybrid-Onsite 3 days/week The expected compensation range for this contract is about $150k/year. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location. Key Responsibilities:
One of our premier clients is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to join their Data Team. This Contractor will be responsible for driving the development of key initiatives including personalization, Customer Data Engine, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions. The Product Manager must be a strategic thinker with strong initiative, a creative approach, and a proven ability to lead both product development and engineering teams. Manage complex priorities, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and guide a team of engineers toward successful execution. Define and own the strategic roadmap for the Data Foundations team, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and delivering value to the business. Prioritize initiatives related to personalization, Customer Data Engine, ML, and AI capabilities, balancing technical feasibility, customer needs, and business priorities. Take initiative to identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and optimization within the data platform and its applications. Lead the Data engineering team, provide direction, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of complex projects. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, supporting the development of the engineers while driving the team towards common goals. Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and transparency around project status, timelines, and any challenges. Spearhead initiatives that leverage data to drive personalization and customer insights, using cutting-edge technologies in AI and ML. Partner with data science teams to translate advanced analytics and machine learning models into practical, scalable solutions within the platform. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record in data platforms, personalization, or AI/ML-related products. Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing complex, large-scale data projects. Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to balance long-term vision with immediate business needs. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across a variety of functions. Hands-on experience working with data platforms, customer data engines, and AI/ML products. Proven ability to manage product lifecycles from ideation through delivery, with a focus on innovation and creative problem-solving. Strong communication and leadership skills, able to drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data technologies. Background in personalization engines or customer data platforms. Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks, tools, and models. Experience in an Agile environment with strong understanding of product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
