Wieland is hiring a Business Process Analyst (SAP Logistics). The Business Process Analyst (SAP Logistics) will be responsible for focusing on the SAP-Logistics modules (TM+YL) and SAP-SD to cooperate with internal customers and our PMO-Team to develop, support and document business processes, procedures and systems. This person will mainly work on our current SAP-Rollout initiative for locations of the Wieland-Group in the US. This includes project management, consulting for best practice approaches, establishing our template processes and provide after GoLive support during implementation. This role is located in Louisville, KY and will be fully on-site. Travel to other sites will be required.
Responsibilities
Business Process Analyst (SAP Logistics) Responsibilities:
- Manage global roll-out and standardization projects for SAP Transport Management
- Identifies and evaluates different business modules along the entire value chain with a focus on logistics
- Works with customers and stakeholder to coordinate project goals, objectives, timeline, and execution
- Manages, plans, and implements projects with the international project teams
- Defines, further develops, and monitors standards in the logistics
- Develops standard processes and further develops the process and information flow of the entire value chain (internal/ external) with a focus on logistics
- Seeks and implements continuous improvements in current and future processes resulting in customer satisfaction
- Implements and trains on standards in the global logistics organization
- Advises, coordinates, and supports employees, managers and external logistics service providers in global logistics change processes.
- Drafts standard contracts in coordination with the purchasing and legal departments
- Controls and further develops IT software implementations, such as SAP modules TM (Transport Management) and YL (Yard Logistics), Transporeon (external logistics platform for standardized data transfer to service providers and for transport tenders etc. and other logistics software providers
- Coordinates the global project requirements with the stakeholders and the internal IT department as well as external IT service providers
- Plans, supports, cooperates, and implements integration tests, training, and monitoring (milestones) of global IT projects
- Supports and further develops global logistics controlling (costs, quantities, etc.)
- Implements and evaluates KPI analysis for presentation of logistics savings
- Coordinates global KPI measurements, evaluates results and identification of trends
- Creates complex databases, statistics and presentations and presents the content to middle and senior management
Business Process Analyst (SAP Logistics) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Experience in dispatch and logistics business and processes
- Ability to occasionally work outside of regular business hours (including weekends) if necessary
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in technical and non-technical terms, at all levels, within and outside the organization, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic about constantly learning new things together with colleagues in a fascinating environment
