The Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a primary affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS), is seeking a full-time child/adolescent psychiatrist to serve as the Director of the new Neurodevelopmental Disorders Program. The successful candidate will be an innovative, strategic leader with a national and/or international reputation in neurodevelopmental disorders and a passion for building a nationally recognized program in neurodevelopmental disorders. The position includes protected time for administrative and academic responsibilities including research and teaching and will have a senior leadership and academic role in the Department of Psychiatry. This person will also be expected to integrate research into the systems-wide clinical services and be the director of a CHA-wide group of clinical services for the care of patients of all ages with neurodevelopmental disorders. These services include the expanded neurodevelopmental inpatient units at the

new CHA Center of Excellence for Child & Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health Care at CHA Somerville Hospital , and a transformative outpatient continuum of patient- and family-centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs. Our system is comprised of three Hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston’s Metro North Region. Ideal applicants should have a demonstrated track record of research, teaching, and publications. Harvard Medical School appointment will be commensurate with HMS appointment criteria and candidate qualifications. Candidates must have or be eligible for a MA license, have relevant experience in a leadership role, and be BC/BE in child/adolescent psychiatry.
