Operations Leader
to join our executive leadership team within our manufacturing organization. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the operations of a business unit, driving performance improvements, and ensuring the achievement of our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operational leadership, financial management, and strategic planning, with a proven ability to foster growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee daily operations to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, driving revenue growth, controlling costs, and ensuring overall profitability. Develop and execute business plans that enhance growth, efficiency, and operational excellence. Ensure customer satisfaction by focusing on quality and timely delivery of products. Strategic Leadership Provide strategic direction aligned with the company’s overall goals. Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities. Develop scalable operational frameworks to support dynamic business environments. Continuous Improvement Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or other methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Identify areas for improvement and spearhead projects to boost productivity, minimize waste, and increase efficiency. Team Leadership and Development Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, providing coaching, performance management, and professional growth opportunities. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to ensure seamless operations and alignment with company objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Compliance and Safety Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies across all operations. Enforce safety regulations and promptly address any safety issues. Additional Responsibilities Willingness to travel and work at different locations during the first six months as needed. Support the scaling up of business operations and contribute to the development and implementation of growth plans. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Experience: 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong track record in operations leadership and achieving business objectives. Experience in custom manufacturing is a plus. Prior experience in scaling up a business is highly desirable. Skills: Strong strategic thinking and the ability to drive growth and identify new market opportunities. Proven expertise in P&L management and financial performance. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Proficient in Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
