Position Title: Business Analyst (Wealth Management)
Location: Midtown/Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months contract to hire
Job Description:
Individuals must have
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a US Broker Dealer as a business analyst. Working in Equities, ETO’s, Mutual Funds and Fixed Income Markets. Some experience in Margin Lending and Security Finance would be advantageous.
- Vendor management experience
- End-to-End project delivery experience
- Collaborating with vendors and internal/external stakeholders at all levels – PMs, BAs, Architects, IT Security Risk, IT Infrastructure, Testers, Application Managers/Senior Execs, etc.
- Working closely with IT Architects on defining the tactical and strategic integration solutions
Skills :
- Technical and Business knowledge of some of the following systems or software provides:
- Data feeds – ICE Data Services, Bloomberg, Rimes, CBOE
- Margin Lending – Softek
- Settlement and Stock Borrow & Loans – FIS Global Various Products/ Capital Markets Syn Ops.
- Surveillance and Reporting – S3, Steel Eye, FIS-R3
- Mutual Funds – Broadridge Matrix
- Microsoft Office, Teams, Visio, Confluence, Jira, MS Project
- A good knowledge of the Operational processes required to support an American Broker Dealer’s middle and back-office broker. With experience in Investment Bank Operations, Retails Financial Services or Financial Services Technology or similar
- Proven dealings with senior management and vendors utilising strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
- hands-on data analysis/testing – test case preparation, test execution, defect logging. Experience in application testing using a variety of testing suites.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong analytical ability: Present knowledge and perform research, making logical analysis, evaluating risks/benefits. Recommending alternatives for courses of action and implements creative solutions to complex problems.
- be comfortable leading discussions with Business & IT and driving the decision-making process.
