Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst specializing in Power BI, data analysis, and business process analysis. This role requires strong analytical and client-facing skills, a proactive approach to solving business challenges, and the ability to transform data into actionable insights. The Business Analyst will work closely with both internal teams and external clients, supporting projects that drive operational excellence and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Power BI Reporting
   • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends and provide actionable business insights.
   • Design, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards tailored to various audiences, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and impact.
   • Develop and implement data validation processes to maintain data consistency across databases and reporting systems.
   • Present data-driven insights and recommendations through clear visualizations and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
2. Business Process Analysis & Documentation
   • Document and analyze current business processes using workflow diagrams, process maps, and written explanations.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and recommend process improvements aligned with organizational goals.
   • Conduct workshops and value stream analyses to enhance process flows, providing metrics to track improvements.
   • Support the creation of SOPs to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with business requirements.
3. Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
   • Act as a liaison between technical and functional teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
   • Facilitate user training for Power BI tools, supporting data adoption across departments and enhancing reporting capabilities.
   • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and clients, providing consistent project updates and managing risks to ensure timely outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis, or data reporting with a strong emphasis on Power BI.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report design, with experience in other data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL; certification in Power BI is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
• Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to conduct workshops or training sessions for internal and external stakeholders on data tools and analytics.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Power BI or relevant data analysis tools.
• Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and database management systems.
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipeline management.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, especially in relation to data storage and analysis.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience in data integration and management, using tools like Alteryx or Power Automate.
