Now Hiring a Freight Forwarding Business Developer - Sales Executive (Remote)
We are seeking an established Freight Forwarding Business Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Executive, you will leverage your book of business and deep industry experience to drive growth by securing new clients and expanding existing relationships within the freight forwarding, airfreight, NVOCC, and logistics services sectors. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales plans, with a focus on transpacific ocean freight.
Location: Remote Long Island, NJ and surrounding areas
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients, focusing on importers and exporters within your region.
• Sell the full range of company services, including airfreight, NVOCC, and logistics solutions.
• Manage existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports to clients.
• Stay on top of carrier pricing, market demand, and shipping trends.
• Facilitate onboarding of new clients, including rate filing, SOP finalization, and invoicing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of proven experience in Freight Forwarding, specifically in transpacific ocean freight.
• A strong book of business with established relationships in the import/export market.
• In-depth knowledge of airfreight, NVOCC, and logistics services.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
