Community Health Center - Retail Pharmacy Manager
Cardinal Health in partnership with The Aliveness Project is looking for a highly motivated HIV-Certified pharmacist interested in managing an entity-owned 340B Retail Pharmacy located within a partner health center. Our pharmacists play an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities that are most in need, including immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and management of high-risk patients.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with administrative and physician leadership within partnered health centers to implement pharmacist-driven clinical and dispensing services to the patients served.
Implement best practices and ensure department compliance.
Ensure adequate staffing is present to fulfill the needs of the pharmacy.
Maintain accurate records of all prescription medication received and dispensed.
Ensure policies are in place regarding accurate dispensing and labeling of prescriptions and those policies are followed.
Ensure security of the prescription area and its contents are maintained at all times.
Maintain the prescription area in an orderly and sanitary manner; ensure compliance with all Federal and State statutes, rules, and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred.
2 years pharmacy management experience, 3-5 years related pharmacy experience.
Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
Immunization Certification or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
Multitasking and time management skills.
340B Experience preferred.
AAHIVP required.

Administers and exercises policies and procedures.
Ensures employees operate within guidelines.
Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers.
Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels.
Anticipated Salary Range:
$123,100 - $184,590
