Data Center Materials Manager

Data Center Materials Manager’s
primary focus is on managing the flow of materials required for our
Data Center operations
in the US and Mexico, ensuring timely “Clear to Build” (CTB), effective escalation management, and seamless coordination with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include executing operational plans, responding to complex inquiries, ensuring quality of work, developing inventory control reports, working with the “Stand-up” Delivery Assurance Organization, and overseeing the entire Supply Chain workstream. The

on-site
in
Palm Beach Gardens

We’ll support your growth with paid-for external training programs and courses. Key Responsibilities Material Procurement:
Develop and execute material procurement strategies for Data Centers including PFEP. Guarantee timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules and minimize downtime. Ensure CTB and visibility and escalation with suppliers.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels, confirm the availability of materials, minimize excess and obsolete stock. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of inventory records.
Supplier Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to understand material needs and constraints. Manage supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery assurance, and/or expedite cost. Coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules with supervisors. Develop and implement strategies to optimize material flow and reduce transportation costs.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in material management and procurement. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on material management performance to the data centers business leaders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams such as Production, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to align material management strategies with overall business objectives. Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on material-related issues and requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of material transactions, supplier agreements, and inventory levels. Prepare and present reports on material management activities, issues, and performance metrics to the data centers' business leaders.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 10 years plus experience in supply chain, material management, or manufacturing. Travel up to 40% locally or internationally. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering. Spanish language skills. Working knowledge of LeadDNA tools. Business knowledge. Action-oriented, results-driven with analytical and problem-solving skills. English verbal and written communication skills. Work independently, collaboratively, and effectively manage multiple projects. Project management skills. Business acumen specific to Inventory, Revenue, Units, and Margin. Build cross-functional relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional information: This position doesn’t support immigration sponsorship.
