What You’ll Do:
As the selected Jr. BD & Capture Analyst, you’ll support the Growth and Business Development leaders, with a focus on analysis, writing, and presentations to teaming partners and end customers through the gate review cycle.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Identify new pursuits and updates to currently targeted opportunities (sourced from Sam.gov, eBuy, GovWin, FPDS, etc.)
  • Conduct opportunity analysis focused on past performances and corporate experience based on solicitation needs and program goals
  • Development of initial Probability of Win (PWIN)
  • Lead and/or participate in coordinating development of RFI and RFP responses with Growth/BD leads, teaming partners and proposal manage
  • Document and maintain CRM records
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to drive company growth in the US market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Produce "forecast calendars" for resources as timing of solicitations become clearer.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure availability of Solution Architects, Proposal Manager, Technical Writers, Pricing analysts, Graphics Artists, etc.
  • Prioritize capture efforts based on complex criteria, with ability to identify and justify recommendations
  • Develop business intelligence on incumbents
  • Identify and Propose Teaming Partners
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new markets.
  • Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and market insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Stay informed about changes in the business landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
What You’ll Need:
  • Proven track record in business development, with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results oriented demeanor.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
Set Yourself Apart With:
  • Knowledge of Shipley Business Development model
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with proposal writing, including past performance, technical and management sections
  • Able to multi-task and handle multiple, parallel assignments
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills
