Job Description

Primary Function of Position

Engineering group's Process and Business Systems Team is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Process and Business Systems. This role supports and executes implementing and optimizing SAP S/4HANA and SAP Manufacturing Execution (S/4 ME), future PLM transformations and other operational efficiencies, process improvements, compliance, and systems integration initiatives for Engineering groups.

Position Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Define or improve Manufacturing and Design Engineering business processes, Master Data, Business Systems, and relevant training. (People, Process, and Tools).
  • Carefully assesses and supports decision-making by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, such as manufacturing operations and supply chain, regulatory, quality, and IT.
  • Be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for Engineering to implement the S4 Manufacturing process and digital transformations. Collaborate with other functional DRIs and stakeholders mentioned above to execute operational efficiency, process improvement, and compliance.
  • Contribute and support future NextGen PLM and Engineering Product Master data transformations and other Business Systems initiatives.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements in manufacturing/process engineering functions and any common process areas with design engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain. Enable standardization and avoid regionalization in process, data, training, and business systems.
  • Train stakeholders on process and system changes and periodically communicate to the broader audience.
  • Process Revise, review and/or approve QMS and Business document changes to improve company efficiency.
  • Mentor employees on clear and complete ECO creation, including Implementation tasks, product parts lifecycle management, and support governance.
  • Support Test and/or Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for business software changes.
  • Support quality system compliance, including corrective action closure.
  • Analyze and execute analytics & reporting needs.
Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Minimum a bachelor's, or master's degree in computer science or information systems or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 12+ years of experience supporting and executing SAP ERP and MES Process and Systems. SAP S4 and S4 ME implementation experience for manufacturing engineering functions in a functional SME role is preferred.
  • Experience in Medical Devices or Aerospace or any similar regulated Manufacturing industries experience is necessary.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience working in or with Engineering function and its stakeholders is necessary.
  • Experience working in Oracle Agile/Cloud PLM or Windchill PLM implementations or continuous improvements as a functional SME.
  • Experience working or using business systems and improvements for Polarion, Clarity (or other related project management tools) is nice to have.
  • Experience developing Product BOMs, Travelers/Routers, and manufacturing process instructions, change order management.
  • Experienced in ISO 13485 medical device manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences to foster understanding, influence and build consensus across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence without direct authority.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to drive improvement initiatives and Kaizens, collaborating in large-scale projects and stakeholder communications, creating test case scenarios, and risk management.
  • Strong data analysis, reporting tools, and performance-tracking skills for continuous improvement using tools like Tableau, SAP BOXI, and Snowflake.
