Soliant is hiring: Overnight Pharmacist Job GA in Box Springs

Soliant Health has gained the reputation of partnering with the nations most respected hospital systems to staffing interim pharmacy personnel. This Georgia long term care pharmacy has an immediate opening of a pharmacist to fill a 13-week contract. Eligible candidates must have recent pharmacy experience and full time availability.

Location: Macon, GA

Schedule: 40 hrs./week, overnight shift

Duration: 13-weeks (minimum)

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day operations in the pharmacy as they pertain to workflow, production quotas and deadlines
• Assist in the proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation and storage of all controlled substances
• Ensure that the pharmacy is pliant with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy
• Supervise the pharmacy production staff to ensure proper order entry, workflow and security of the pharmacy area, and adherence to delivery schedules
• Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of all sterile IV drug products or solutions
• Check for pleteness and accuracy of all new and refill labels and orders
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling
• Ensure that the pharmacy is pliant with all DEA policies and procedures and follows all applicable government regulations

Qualifications:

• Registered Pharmacist by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy, active and in good standing
• Full time availability
• Minimum one year of recent pharmacy experience, required
