Wyyerd Fiber is seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Field Operations to lead and oversee our regional field teams in delivering top tier service and operational excellence. This person will lead by ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the company's network strategy, improving operating performance and profitability, and enabling growth across regional markets.
About This Role The Vice President of Field Operations will be responsible for leading and managing field operations teams to ensure optimal performance in service delivery, installations and maintenance. Develop and execute on strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction across both regions. Implement best practices in field operations, leveraging data and analytics to optimize processes. Collaborate with executive teams to align operational strategies with company goals and vision. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day business operations and business value creation via company-provided FP&A framework. Manage opex, capital tracking and financial metric performance. Support customer service and activation team to forecast and deliver necessary customer installs and maintain ever-improving reputation of truthfulness, transparency, reliability and service. Support network deployment and operations team to forecast, deliver and maintain network in-place and expansion. Ensure network performance and reliability for Wyyerd customers; address any network performance issues or network outages. Identify and cultivate strategic external relationships that drive revenue and/or cost reduction opportunities. Make and reinforce value/ownership-oriented decisions, weighing the costs and benefits first then the subjective influencers of various options to determine the best course of action and achieve local/overall company objectives. Communicate and embody the company vision and values. Evaluate employee performance and provide additional coaching and support, leading by example and with truthfulness, commitment and sincerity. Define, implement and rigorously improve policies and performance standards. Experience/Qualifications 10+ years of field leadership experience in the telecommunications industry. Entrepreneurial self-starter with demonstrated history of customer-oriented field leadership. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering preferred. Ability to adapt to a fast moving and changing environment. Advanced understanding of networking/telecommunications/internet. Knowledge of and ability to enforce all federal, state, local and Company safety regulations/requirements. Strong organizational and planning skills. Ability and willingness to travel as needed (30% or more travel). Extensive managerial and leadership experience.
