Travel and Expense Policy and Process SME The Position: Censeo is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the GSA by providing customer engagement and operations planning, governance, strategic communications, transition readiness, and supplemental change management and customer support services as part of the E-Gov Travel Services (ETS) Program Management Office. Our team will incorporate change management and customer support lessons learned from similar T&E implementation projects initiatives and promote efficiencies to the ETSNext Program. Responsibilities: Develop in-depth knowledge of client issues, needs, and contexts Share insights, results, and recommendations in a comprehensible manner through both written presentations/reports and interactions with teams/clients Work with client stakeholders and working groups to develop process maps, project plans, and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvement Lead discrete deliverables and/or workstreams Support approving, initiating, planning, executing, and closing out projects Support the planning and management of meeting logistics, materials, and follow-up actions Develop correspondence for program leads to be sent to key stakeholders Proactively identify program risks, and deploy mitigation strategies Drive alignment between ETS Shared Service and T&E policy and standards organizations Reduce cross-agency variances and streamline the design of any agency-unique needs to maximize the use of commercial solutions Mitigate transition risks using a comprehensive planning and rollout effort across Government with coordinated delivery commitments Coordinate agency ETS solution verification participation Maintain tools for integrated project management across agencies and ETSNext T&E Technology Managed Service Provider Facilitate and track interagency agreements and related service level agreements, schedules, cost, audit requirements, and other official information requests The Ideal Candidate: At Censeo, we are looking for unique candidates whose passion and enthusiasm will help shape Censeo’s client insights and workplace culture. We believe a successful Subject Matter Expert will have: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public policy, or related field Mid-level: Minimum 4 years' experience in consulting, federal service, and/or related field Senior: Minimum 4 years' experience in consulting, federal service, and/or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration Experience in at least one of the following: project management, communications, change management, travel service program, or federal technology implementation Understanding of Travel Service programs, policy, and technology, ideally with E-Gov Travel (ETS) a plus Experience with Travel and Expense Business and Process Analysis a plus The Company: Censeo Consulting Group is a top Washington D.C. based management consulting firm dedicated to helping public sector and non-profit clients build operational excellence, deliver better outcomes, and lower costs. The Fine Print: Remote or Hybrid Opening Salary Range: $55,000-$160,000 (depending on experience) Expected travel 0-10%; may increase based on business needs Essential Physical Functions
