HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: The VP, IT Supply Chain Systems drives transformational technology initiatives, serving as a key thought partner to supply chain business teams. This leader delivers innovative solutions that optimize sourcing, inventory management, and logistics, driving operational excellence and aligning technology with strategic business goals. This role reports to the EVP, Chief Information & Technology Officer, manages a total team size of ~25 distributed globally and is based full-time in our Buckhead office. Responsibilities: 40%: Strategic Direction and Execution Lead relationship with executive teams in Distribution, Order Management, Fulfilment, Logistics, Transportation, Sourcing and Operations units; develop strategic direction and support tactical initiatives. Direct and organize Global ST&L teams to develop strategies to support the business, deliver projects & support operations; partner with other IT functions to ensure proper execution of projects and support. Influence supply chain adoption and optimized use of technologies amongst cross functional partners in the organization. Drive business processes and improvements to the business inclusive of new technology options to solve business problems. Participate in EVP, Supply Chain’s weekly staff meeting representing IT from a Supply Chain perspective. Lead driving continual improvements in team member development and technology portfolio. 30%: Project Direction / Team Management Manage application group personnel, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization, as well as building on existing recruiting capabilities to address new needs and skills gaps. Conduct regular surveys of stakeholder satisfaction with applications, publish the results and, where necessary, implement action plans to improve satisfaction. Manage relationship with key vendors (NGC, Jesta, Manhattan Associates, TLO, Intellimas, Plum River, Blue Prism and SAP). Support IT engagement model with business and align with internal project/portfolio management processes. 20%: IT Supply Chain Application Support Define and enhance methodologies and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement. Provide support and facilitate innovative and experimental application work to test new ideas with bounded cost and time frames. Overseeing the assessment of the technical and business fitness of the application portfolio and their associated costs and risks. Overseeing support activities in conjunction with infrastructure and operations to ensure the applications perform well in production. Overseeing benefits realization to ensure that business outcomes are achieved. 10%: Budgeting/Other Responsible for managing the annual budget for Supply Chain IT function including all projects and resources. Manages creation of system and process documentation, training materials, and necessary communication to staff members, other IT members (infrastructure and development), IT leadership, user base, executive leadership, vendors, etc. WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF: Must have: 12+ years’ experience in information technology, directly supporting distribution operations in a complex environment, ideally retail soft-goods. Direct experience implementing WMOS systems, ERP & supporting systems for distribution and logistics. Proven expertise in supply chain technology. Experience in warehouse management, transportation management, order management, allocation, sales processing management systems highly desirable. Proven project management skills with the ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization. Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred skills and experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience or knowledge in areas like application programming, database, integration and system design.
