An overnight caregiver arrives at the home shortly before bedtime and remains awake and alert until the resident has fallen asleep. If the person needs assistance, the caregiver will provide assistance on and off throughout the evening, if needed, until morning. These caregivers first help the residents with their nighttime routine and ensure they get safely to bed. The overnight caregiver provides quality care and assistance during the night and monitors the person to ensure he is safe and comfortable. In the morning, they can help the senior get out of bed and prepare for the day. BILINGUAL: Spanish, and the resident requires a Female caregiver. Others need not apply.
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid, and (CPI certification preferred)
- DSP 1 (Direct Support Professional) Certification and DSP 2 Preferred
- Minimum 1+ year(s) of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors
- Preferred if the applicant has a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
- Must be over 21 years old

The work of a caregiver does not only stem from love, but this labor-intensive work wears a family member out. We help families access services so that their disabled loved one receives care and support from others in and out of the home to support their home dynamics. Support comes in various ways; the support needs are person-centered, and therefore, the services are person-centered, and it changes for every person and their family and household.
