Position Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Operations to lead our franchisee operations for a growing quick service restaurant (QSR) group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the QSR industry, a proven track record in operations management, and a strong focus on driving performance, profitability, and brand consistency across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership:
Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple franchise locations, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement operational strategies that support the company’s growth objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
Financial Management:
Monitor financial performance of each location, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
Training and Development:
Develop and implement training programs for restaurant managers and staff to promote operational excellence and customer service standards.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality control standards, and operational best practices to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, expansion, and improvement in service delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, human resources, and supply chain teams to drive initiatives that enhance operational performance and brand awareness.
Performance Metrics:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and drive accountability across all locations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in operations management within the QSR or restaurant industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of driving operational improvements and financial performance. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experience in franchise operations is a plus.
