OB SCOPE

Responsible for providing Food and Beverage service in the any of the guest rooms or gardens.

JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Prepares and delivers the F & B items on trays according to the set standards.

2. Greets guests in rooms and on the phone according to the standards.

3. Apply food and beverage handling rules

4. Bring wine selections to the room with appropriate glasses, follow with proper wine service procedure.

5. Constantly walk the hallways, to pick up dirty trays

6. Deliver amenities as arranged by guest service.

7. Prepares accurate checks, follows cashiering procedures.

8. Brew fresh coffee and tea

9. Fill salt & pepper, sugar bowls, creamers, fold napkins and polish silverware.

10. Organize the trays with proper set up.

11. Restock the service counter with items such as straws, glasses, cups, condiments.

12. Polish glasses, silverware as well as trays whenever needed.

13. Completely understand and follow the department and hotel standards

14. Takes responsibility to keep the room service area clean at all times

15. Retrieves food items from the kitchen and beverages from the fridge OR the lounge bar.

16. Collects dirty items and brings them to the dishwasher.

17. Maintains guests satisfaction his/her top priority

18. Follows and works according to the standard operating procedures of the room service

19. Takes the initiative to serve the guests even if they are sitting in the gardens.

20. Responsible, along with the manager to train and motivate staff.

21. OTHER TASKS AS REQUIRED

This hourly rate for this position is $16 per hour.
