You will work closely with our residential and overnight treatment team to provide supportive learning and leisure opportunities to our neurodiverse students in the early mornings and late evenings. The position involves supporting students in activities of daily living, providing supervision during the awake overnight shift, and implementing our therapeutic frameworks. • Support morning and bedtime routines for residential students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students to encourage their engagement in ADLs.
  • With support, become familiar with residential students’ treatment goals and crisis plans.
  • Complete program communication and documentation requirements, including daily student progress summaries and incident reports.
  • Participate in crisis intervention as needed.

  • Believe in the potential of every person to build a life of joy and purpose, and help students develop the skills to achieve this.

Supervision, support, and professional learning are provided. The Ivy Street School is driven by trauma-informed care principles and uses Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Restorative Justice to foster positive behavior development and deepen character. • Consistent professionalism and the ability to develop and maintain safe and effective student/staff relationships.
  • A desire to give and receive feedback to support personal and professional growth.
  • Excellent time management and attendance record.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in residential programming preferred, but not required.
  • Some holiday shifts required.
  • Background check, drug, and alcohol testing will be performed prior to the start of employment.
