Overview:

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a dynamic and business-savvy Insights Manager to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between data analytics and business strategy, ensuring that our product roadmap aligns with client needs and market demands. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to independently extract and analyze data to translate complex insights into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Insight Development:

Collaborate closely with sales teams, product managers, and other business stakeholders to deeply understand client pain points and market opportunities.

Develop and refine data-driven strategies that align with client needs, focusing on delivering actionable insights that drive business value.

Act as a key contributor in defining the product vision, leveraging data insights to identify new product features and market opportunities.

Client-Centric Data Analysis:

Independently extract and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python.

Apply your expertise in data analysis and modeling to generate insights that resonate with our clients’ business goals.

Ensure that insights generated from data analysis are relevant, actionable, and aligned with the strategic needs of our clients, particularly in the insurance and corporate sectors.

Storyteller:

Craft and visualize compelling narratives: Transform complex data insights into visually engaging stories that resonate with stakeholders and clients. Use data visualization to bring clarity and impact, ensuring insights are not just seen but truly understood.

Champion data across channels: Act as an advocate for data-driven insights, promoting them through marketing channels to drive awareness and interest. Inspire clients and colleagues alike by conveying the strategic importance of data in solving real business challenges.

Public speaking and thought leadership: Take the stage in public speaking opportunities, confidently discussing insights and trends in financial data that elevate Clearwater’s brand. By sharing expertise at industry events, position Clearwater as a leader in actionable, insight-driven solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure that data insights are seamlessly integrated into product features and client offerings.

Present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations.

Work closely with clients to gather feedback, iterate on data models, and continuously improve the relevance and impact of the insights provided.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.

Minimum 9 years of relevant prior experience.

Proven experience in data analysis, data strategy, and working with large datasets, with a strong focus on business outcomes.

Proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to independently extract and analyze data without needing support from a data analyst.

Deep understanding of financial markets and instruments, with the ability to apply this knowledge to data-driven product development.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear business strategies.

Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ability to independently manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet business objectives.

Salary Range DOE:

156,400 - 243,136 USD

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
