Jill’s House is a Christian non-profit organization and auxiliary ministry of McLean Bible Church called by God to love families raising children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 6-22) toward Jesus by providing them with short-term, overnight respite care and holistic family support services. We seek to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed to all our constituencies. Jill’s House is seeking Overnight Direct Support Professionals to care for children with intellectual disabilities in our fully accessible facility in Vienna, Virginia just outside of Washington, DC.
Paid training and professional development is provided so experience is not required!

The Direct Support Professional is responsible for:
- The guidance and supervision of the children to whom they are assigned.
- Performing a combination of basic care, assistance with activities of daily living, and activity guidance in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Following each client’s service plan and create a positive, engaging and fun experience for all participants.
Available Shifts:
- Tuesday: 9 PM - 6 AM
- Wednesday: 9 PM - 6 AM
- Thursday: 9 PM - 6 AM
- Friday: 9 PM - 6 AM
- Saturday: 9 PM - 6 AM

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old, high school graduate or GED.
- At least six months successful experience in working directly with children is preferred.
- Weekend shift availability is highly preferred
- Patience, good oral and written communication skills.
- Great team skills, willingness to learn and grow.
- Enjoyment of children, physical strength and stamina to help children transition into bed.
- Must affirm the McLean Bible Church Vision and Values as well as abide by the Standards of Christian Conduct. (See attached)
