Salary: $19-22 hourly DOE

Profound Treatment is seeking a NOC (11pm -7:30am) shift Behavioral Health Technician for our residential  facilities. Our facilities are located in San Fernando Valley. We are looking to fill positions at ALL locations immediately. 

The Technician provides overnight client supervision and staff support for Profound Treatment's residential or outpatient facilities. The health, welfare, and safety of our clients is the main focus of this position.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, educate, and assist clients in the performance of activities of daily living in accordance with goals and problem areas identified on the clients' individualized treatment plans.
  • Observe, monitor, report, and document the clients' behaviors and interactions.
  • Participate in continuing education activities, remaining knowledgeable in areas related to the focus of the treatment program.
  • Attend staff meetings as appropriate and meet regularly with supervisors and peers to exchange pertinent information and receive supervision.
  • Interact appropriately with all visitors, family members, and care providers of clients.
  • Carry out responsibilities pertaining to the facility's efficient operation, including all events, activities, and outings, utilizing safety management, emergency procedures, and non-violent crisis intervention.
  • Assist with inventory and general maintenance of supplies, facilities, and equipment.
  • Conducts person and property searches of clients.
  • Perform cleaning duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Interact with clients in a confidential, therapeutic, and responsible manner maintaining a high ethical conduct level.
  • Transport clients to and from appointments, facilities, and other activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Registration with CCAPP, CAADE, or CADTP
  • Minimum two years of experience in an addiction/behavioral health treatment setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, co-occurring disorders, and various recovery resources in the community
  • Excellent observation, reporting, and documentation skills
  • Must have current CPR/First Aid certification, physical, and TB test
  • Must have a valid CA Driver's License
