Summary:
The Recovery Advocate’s chief responsibilities will be to assist the staff in the management and execution of the daily schedule and coordination/facilitation of client needs. You will provide direct client care including safely transporting residents to events and appointments, aids other departments regarding client care, ensures clients awareness of individual and group sessions, and actively communicates with relative departments regarding client status and behaviors, as well as assisting in the admission/intake process, and other aspects of the client’s experience at Crestone Wellness. You will be directly involved in monitoring and mentoring the clients. Be familiar with all Crestone Wellness staff members, programs and properties.
Hours Needed: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Days: Wednesday - Sunday
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of and uphold all Crestone Wellness Policy and Procedures
- Act as a Liaison between patients and staff and relay pertinent patient information, including observations, to appropriate clinical staff
- Supervise daily patient operations and always act in a manner sensitive to their needs and best interests
- Supports staff with the enforcement of and accountability for the rules and guidelines as outlined in the Resident Handbook.
- Ensures timeliness and encourages participation of residents in group sessions, individual therapy, outside appointments, and other events as dictated by their schedule.
- Provide thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of any services delivered to patients
- Develop therapeutic rapport with the milieu and maintain healthy professional boundaries with clients
- Assist patients with transportation needs when assigned
- Communicate and set limits with culturally diverse patients
- Maintain the safety of the patients and the security of the facility
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the property and facilities
- Participate in intake and discharge process of patients
- Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with company policy

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Able to navigate a computer and use basic software.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
