Village Caregiving - Rapid City is hiring: Overnight In Home Caregiver- CUSTER A

Description of the role: The In-Home Caregiver-CUSTER at Village Caregiving  is responsible for providing exceptional care to individuals in their homes. The caregiver will assist with daily activities, such as bathing, grooming, and medication administration. They will also provide companionship and emotional support to promote a high quality of life for the clients. This role requires a compassionate and patient individual who can adapt to the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Documentation of client care and reporting any changes in condition

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to different client needs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a Background check upon hire
• Ability to work overnights/12 hrs shifts in the clients home, 6P-6A (may weekends and holidays)
