The Collier Group Home is seeking a temporary Residential Caregivers for a overnight shift in in Redbank, NJ.

Female Residential Caregiver BFOQ Statement: Because this program must be a safe haven for adolescent girls and young women who have survived trauma, abuse, and/or neglect; a male presence in this location would be traumatic to the residents. Therefore, we are seeking only female candidates for this specific position.

The shifts we are looking to fill most urgently are:

  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday overnight from 11p to 11am

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising the female youth ages 14-18.
  • Transporting to appointments and activities.
  • Teaching and assisting them to learn independent living skills, self-confidence, respect, and responsibility.
  • Light cleaning around the home

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in SW, Counseling,Psychology or related field of study or HS Diploma with 2 years of experience working with youth in a group setting.
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • A valid Driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • The ability to bend, climb stairs and lift up to 15 lbs., as needed.
  • Must have good communication skills, be responsible, reliable, and flexible with shifts, when necessary.
  • Must learn and practice Sanctuary Model, including adherence to the Seven Commitments and SELF-model.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and work with all levels of program staff and exercise sound judgment when interacting with the residents.
  • Prior experience implementing Sanctuary Model and Nurtured Heart practices in a group setting.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
