Position Summary:

The Executive Director (ED) serves as Options Health's key leader, responsible for overseeing the strategic vision, daily operations, and overall health of the organization. The ED will drive fundraising efforts, lead staff, foster community relationships, and ensure that the organization remains true to its mission. This individual must have a heart for ministry and the leadership skills to guide a team and inspire community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Vision:

Lead the organization in developing and implementing its strategic plan in collaboration with the Board of Directors.

Model and uphold the organization’s Christian values, ensuring the mission remains centered on offering Christ-like compassion and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies.

Inspire, manage, and mentor a dedicated staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service.

Fundraising & Development:

Lead and grow the organization's fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and stewardship.

Develop and execute fundraising events, including annual galas, donor appreciation events, and other initiatives to ensure the financial sustainability of the organization.

Build relationships with donors, churches, and community partners to secure both monetary and in-kind contributions.

Operations & Financial Management:

Oversee the organization's day-to-day operations, ensuring that all programs and services are aligned with the mission and operate effectively.

Ensure financial stability by developing and managing the organization’s budget, overseeing financial reporting, and maintaining transparency in collaboration with the Board Treasurer.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including nonprofit and medical standards.

Community Engagement & Public Relations:

I will serve as the organization's primary spokesperson, representing Options Health to the public, donors, churches, and community leaders.

Build strong partnerships with local churches, community organizations, and other partners to further the mission.

Advocate for the organization's values and life-affirming approach, participating in public speaking engagements and conferences.

Program Development:

Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the community's needs, including medical services, counseling, education, and post-abortion recovery.

Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvements or new initiatives.

Qualifications:

Faith Commitment:

A mature and active Christian faith consistent with the organization’s values and statement of faith.

Leadership Experience:

Proven experience in executive leadership, preferably within the nonprofit sector. Previous experience in faith-based organizations, pregnancy resource centers, or healthcare ministries is a plus.

Fundraising Expertise:

Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor development, and event planning.

Strong Communication Skills:

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to inspire staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners.

Financial Acumen:

Experience in budgeting, financial management, and organizational planning.

Relationship Building:

Strong ability to build partnerships, work collaboratively with stakeholders, and manage volunteer programs.

Compassionate Leadership:

A heart for ministry, with a passion for helping women in unplanned pregnancies and a pro-grace commitment.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public health, social work, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years in a leadership role, ideally in a faith-based or nonprofit environment.

Preferred Skills & Traits:

Strategic thinker who can balance the big picture with day-to-day operational needs.

Ability to manage a diverse team and foster an inclusive, mission-driven work culture.

Proficiency in nonprofit software, financial management tools, and CRM systems.

Grant writing and government funding experience is a plus.
